The AI that acts on your behalf in the browser

Runbook AI is an autonomous AI agent that lives in your browser. Tell it what you need — it figures out the steps, navigates pages, fills forms, and gets things done on its own. No scripting, no hand-holding.

What's included

Everything you need to get things done on the web

Runbook AI is more than just an extension — it's a full ecosystem for delegating, sharing, and running autonomous web tasks.

🧩

Chrome Extension

The core autonomous agent. Describe what you need in plain English and it handles the rest — navigating, clicking, filling forms, and extracting data on its own. Zero data leaves your machine except to your LLM.

Why Runbook AI?

Why build something new?

There are other browser-based MCP tools out there (like chrome-devtools-mcp), but they usually blow up your LLM context window by sending the entire DOM after every browser action.

Runbook AI generates a highly optimized, simplified version of the HTML. It strips the junk but keeps the essential text and interaction elements — condensed, fast, and token-efficient. The simplified HTML also goes beyond the viewport, so scrolling is far more efficient.

Key features

Tip: Want to keep your personal browsing separate? Create a dedicated Chrome profile for the bot. It takes seconds — just click your profile icon in Chrome and select "Add." The bot runs in its own sandboxed profile with its own logins, extensions, and cookies, so your main profile stays untouched.

Let it handle the work

Install the extension, point it at your LLM, and delegate your first task. No account required.
